I watched in disbelief; I really thought it was all posturing and bluster. What unfolded was something I never thought I would never see in my lifetime.
My thoughts are with the people of the Ukraine at this difficult time as they fight for their very existence.
At times like this, I feel very grateful living in Great Britain. We are afforded liberty and protection without giving it a second thought.
In business, we all encounter hurdles, but this pales into insignificance compared to the situation.
This week I will be thinking of the people fighting for their lives and will not waste a precious second of my own.
My week will be filled with hard work and dedication.
It reminds me of a Steve Prefontaine quote (1970’s American running hero).
“to give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift”
